Warmworks has published its first UK-wide Impact Report, outlining the results of the work the company carried out in homes and communities across the UK in 2023/2024.

The Impact Report demonstrates that the team’s efforts have continued to reduce energy bills and carbon emissions for thousands more homes and families; as well as creating meaningful jobs, developing valuable training opportunities and sustaining future-ready apprenticeships in local communities across the UK in the last year.

Ross Armstrong, Warmworks’ Chief Executive, explained: “It’s been a busy 12 months, but delivering on our core mission will always be central to Warmworks’ development, whatever challenges and opportunities lie ahead.

“In recent years, the expansion of our work has helped tens of thousands of households receive life-changing support across the breadth of the UK, from Orkney to Clacton and from Shetland to Southend. The team is on track to pass the milestone of assisting its 50,000th home in 2025, and with those homes saving an average of more than £300 per year off their energy bill, this represents a remarkable impact.

“During this period of growth, we have remained grateful for the support and guidance provided by our clients and funders, whose aims and objectives the team has worked to make possible over the last 12 months. One point that has remained the same throughout Warmworks’ continued evolution is our focus on providing the highest possible level of service for fuel poor homes.

“Warmworks understands and is committed to the principle that households in, or at risk of, fuel poverty must be treated as individuals, and they must receive the right level of support and care in the process of making their homes more energy efficient. Although it’s been a busy year, the UK is still seeing energy bills at a much higher level than they were three years ago, which means the work we do will remain in high demand in the coming years. Our commitment to addressing this need and staying focused on our core mission will drive our team forward over the next 12 months and beyond.”
