The External Wall Insulation Project with Cunninghame Housing Association aims to support tenants to improve the energy efficiency of their properties and potentially reduce their energy bills.
Warmworks is working alongside Cunninghame Housing Association (CHA) to install external wall insulation in approximately 100 homes in North Ayrshire in Scotland.
External wall insulation creates a layer of insulation around the home, making it warmer by reducing the heat lost through external walls.
Warmworks will oversee the delivery of the end-to-end process, ensuring that customers experience a first-class, streamlined service. The graphic below shows the steps that are involved in the project.
The project is not led by applications and householders are not expected to apply. The project targets properties owned by CHA that are identified as potentially eligible to receive external wall insulation.
The appointed sub-contractor on this project will be held to our extremely high standards in terms of the quality of work they deliver.
This is consistently monitored by a dedicated performance management system and our in-house team provides daily support to all sub-contractors, to ensure customers receive a first-class service.
