Warmworks ‘wrapped’: impact report showcases a record 2025

We’re wrapping up our 10th anniversary year with publication of our 2025 Impact Report – and what a year we’ve had.

We supported over 9,000 households – more than any other year – to achieve warmer, healthier homes and save an average of c. £485 a year on their energy bills. In terms of carbon saved in 2024/25, that’s over 10,000 tonnes of CO2 – the equivalent of taking almost 7,000 cars off the road or planting half a million trees.

Our Impact Report shows these numbers and more at a glance, but also tells the story of the difference this makes to the people we support.

One customer based in the Western Isles is quoted in the report, saying: “We have noticed a huge difference; two rooms that were previously uninhabitable due to the cold are now being used by our family. Our home only takes 20 minutes to fully heat up, and we have also noticed that our oil usage is a fraction of what it was three years ago.”

As well as helping people in or at risk of fuel poverty, we’ve had another year of creating green jobs, supporting the net-zero economy and building a sustainable supply chain across the UK, from the South of England to some of the most remote locations in Scotland.

And we even made major progress towards our goal of becoming a net zero business ourselves, as we installed a solar PV system and a commercial air source heat pump on our Edinburgh office building.

Our Chief Executive Ross Armstrong sums up what the report means to us at Warmworks, and why our work is far from over:
